The First Cyber-Chapel of the Virgin of Guadalupe
Charity,
Hope, Love,
Devotion and Faith
In 1531 the Virgin Mary appeared to a poor Indian named Juan Diego at Tepeyac, a hill northwest of Mexico City. She identified herself as the Mother of the True God, instructed him to have the Spanish bishop build a temple on the site and left an image of herself imprinted miraculously on his tilma, a cape made cactus-cloth. 469 years later the tilma shows no signs of deterioration, and the image of the VIrgin of Guadalupe upon it is a bright as the day it was bestowed.

This Cyber-Chapel was established in the name of the Holy Mother of God, Holy Queen and Mother of Mercy. So that the poor children of Eve may know her name and come and to make their petitions. It is the digital embodiement of a place where her love and devotion reaches to the hearts of all people. This was the first chapel ever built on the web. Constructed by the hands of Virgin's humble servants in order to keep her name holy and free from those who would use it for profit.
